My name is Joy Wade and I am an animator and filmmaker. I graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College, where I studied in the Media Arts & Studies program in the Scripps College of Communication.

My thesis, Circulation of the Light: Mandalas, Alchemy, and Non-Linear Cinema was presented as both an academic paper and a one man art gallery, in which I displayed a collection of hand-drawn and stop-motion animated loops.
